Red wire and two black wires coming out of wall... which wires are which? - 2 black wires and a red wire
I am replacing a light switch in the wall (3-way believe that name? Change) By a motion to. I removed the old switch, but now I have 3 son, I'm not sure what they are. Here is a description of these methods:
1 black wire - descending from the wall
1 wire and cable 1 black red - the climbing wall (for light)
My son is new switch has 2 black and 1 green line (talk about being on the ground in the instructions.) I think should go one of the black wire to black wire only goes through the wall and the black wire is all black or red, which goes to the wall. Then the green wire goes to the cable that goes to the left.
The cables must go about it?

Have you removed the switch is a switch on three courses that you want to modify, replace one of two ways. This switch is incompatible with the nature of the three works, because it allows only light or turn off a zone. Back to the others, and finally a motion sensor designed for use with the three lines. The single black wire from the wall is your city, are the son of two other travelers. Hope this helps.
When you replace an existing 3-way switch, you change the 4 screws.
If the light is determined by a number that controls the three persons.
If you have a tester, you need to realize that cable is active and what not. Are there any white or son of bare copper cable in the box where you put the switch.
If the answer to my question, I can give you more help.
You try to replace a 3-way with a single pole. They are not interchangeable. Black and red are bound passengers, the other 3-way switch, and black is the only city. If you find one that will be with a sensor switch 3-way be provided. Otherwise, you must install the 3-way. Hope this helps.
BLK BLK red reversed only by a 3-way switch. Black is through the network and works with others to change, which you can enable or disable fed by 2 digits. green or bare wire goes to the screw of the metal box !!!!!! No red!
You have the right switch for your application. If you want to install, must have a 2 1 / 2-way rocker switch instead of one to three courses. A switching function as a main switch and the others only work if you are able.
Well ... So that no doubt, the red red and black as the most likely black Thanks for your help, to see y'all
